Hobbies – Birth Defect Prevention for Expecting Parents


Art, photography, stained-glass-making and ceramics are just a few hobbies that you might engage in during your free time. But, the chemicals and metals involved in these processes can be harmful to your unborn baby. Glycol ethers and other solvents in paint, lead in ceramic glazes or stained glass work, solvents and glues used in crafts and the developing chemicals in photography should be avoided during pregnancy.
